Nokia Maps 2 Beta

so how good are these nokia maps anyway?
 last time I looked at them they weren't the greatest thigns out?

We finally have voice guideance in New Zealand for Nokia Maps, so I've been
having a play. is it correct that they have removed voice guideance for
walking routes in this version? And if it is, shouldn't we be making a big
noise about this before it gets out of beta?
