anyone in canada?

Hi, Wayne and all.
Do keep in mind, if you will, that how good your phone service will
be in terms of reception is entirely dependent on where you are. In some
areas, Rogers is far better than Telus and Bell, while in others, one of the
other providers offers unquestionably better wireless service. One of the
best ways to check on all the aspects of service, besides the obvious
reading of pricing and other information on the web, is to have a friend
lend you a phone for a day or two and walk around with it in your usual
area. Granting that some phones have better reception than others, you can
get a decent picture of how good a certain provider's coverage is in a
specific area by so doing. Again, take a few minutes to think about what
features you're after. If you're after unlimited internet access at a
reasonable price, Telus is probably the way to go. If you're after a Symbian
phone, Rogers is the only provider available. If you're after mobile radio,
I think it would have to be Telus on that one. Think about how you're going
to use your phone and that will lead to the phone and network you're after.
Again, I see no reason why one can't ask, on this list or to another person
or group, how to achieve a specific usage pattern at the lowest price.
	HTH.
	Aman

Hi Cheryl:

I'm in Edmonton AB, and my experience is to stay away from Rogers. I was
with Rogers for years, until I got fed up with not being able to make or
received calls when every one else had no trouble doing so. I'm with Telus,
at the moment, and I am thinking about going with Bell. Telus is a lot
better than Rogers, but people tell me that Bell is better than Telus.

Unfortunately, Roger's GSM network has a much larger selection of phones
then Bell and Telus's CDMA network.

Hi everybody.
I'm looking to change cell phone providers soon, so was wondering
which providers those of you in canada are with? I'm currently with
bell mobility on pay as you go.
Also, what phones are you using? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Cheryl
