Ironicly enough, in Ottawa and surrounding area, I get far better
coverage with Rogers than people using Bell and Telus. Also if it's
an actual accessible phone you're after, your only real option is
Rogers. Bell and Telus don't have any. And since they don't use sim
cards, at least they didn't last time I had a look, buying an
unlocked phone won't help you.
