Coming up on Main Menu for the week of March 19-AT&TWirelessAccessibility

Hi Darryl, I too could not listen to the show live last night due to
some ongoing health issues with these darn kidneys but caught the replay
this morning. Of course the show wasn't the same without you and with
that said I too agree that there were a lot of softballs and beach balls
being tossed around and not hardballs. I am going to listen to the 'cast
again but as of now I am still not clear why the CF deal is restricted
to older "clear out the stock" phones and is not available for the full
A T & T product line; such as the Tilt hich I think has one of the best
tactile QWERTY keyboards of any blind friendly phone. Also would have
liked to hear some more on the relationship with Apple and the future
accessibility or not of the IPhone. Hope to see you back in future
episodes.
Frank

Hello Brent,

I was unable to co-host last night due to a city commission meeting
obligation, but I was able to listen to most of the show as it took
place
right before the meeting. I was actually surprised at the lack of hard
questions asked. I was expecting people to call in with some pretty
challenging issues for her. Susan is actually one of the good guys. I
have
a great deal of respect for her. She's blind and the wife of a leader
in
the tech sector of the blind community, Jamal Mazrui. Remember, though,

that she does work for a huge corporation. :(

Yeah, just goes to show you what people might believe if they don't do
their
research. Sorry I missed it. Forgot all about it.

Best Regards,

Took a lissen to Main Menu last night. It doesn't shock me at some of
the
things that Susan from the
AT&T/Cingular tried to claim was do to them and was their own idea.

IE. VoiceAid, Message Reader. That existed on the E-Series and the
6290
long before the N75 ever
came out. The Say Name function is on all 3rd Edition phones as well.

I found some other things as well that shell we say were not all the
way
true and very scued! That
doesn't shock me coming from the AT&T/Cingular disability center.

I would have hoped that they would have cleaned up their information
some
but it doesn't look to
good. I guess that comes from the fact that they do not use the
products
for the most part
  themselves.

Lets see they are coming up on 4 years this September and I wouldn't
trust
them as my only source of
information. I would question anything that they told me and do my own

research.
