Yes the version on the blind sea web site will work with the N82 etc... I use it to install software 
and have had no issues. So it really comes down to what you are wanting to use it for. For 
installing software, you will not have any problems. Same goes for using it to browse around the 
phone and for using it as a mass storage device.

So for the N80, She will not have any problems. that is a older 3rd Edition phone.
