Hi Olusegun,
Thanks for the information. In follow-up, though, have you used the
built-in TTS of the newest LG phones to compare its functionality with
that of MobileSpeak? In comparing the prices, I'd have to spend $300
for MobileSpeak Pocket, plus at least $250 for a Smart Phone capable of
running Windows Mobile, compared to getting a phone with just the
built-in TTS for a total of $50 or less -- That is a large prices
difference for I-DON'T-KNOW-WHAT improvement in accessibility.
If anyone out there has the LG enV (VX9900) and can attest to the pros
and cons of its built-in TTS, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,

Hi Joe:
MobileSpeak will work primarily on phones with the Symbian software.
These are mostly Nokia phones and they run on the GSM network.
If you need a Code Factory product that would work on the Verizon CDMA
network, consider the Palm Treo 700W for which you will need to purchase
MobileSpeak Pocket.
To read more information about the various platforms supported by Code
Factory's speech access technology, visit:

The LGS phones you referred to in your note WILL NOT WORK with any Code
Factory speech access product. Their built-in speech access is all you
can get!
Sincerely,
Olusegun
