anybody using google mail with windows mobile 6?

hi Dave,
yes it is pop.gmail.com:465, my typing error.
I get the same error message:
"there has been a problem download mail, make sure you have entered the 
correct settings etc."
The error doesn't actually say what the exact error is though.

No problems syncing with outlook, but can't see where to check connecttion 
settings in active sync.

Can I just check at this point, that the outlook sync folder cannot be used 
to download email via wireless means when away from the PC?
Thus a further email box on the smart phone must be created?
