Contacts and the Q

I do not worry about what order my contacts are in as I use the first 2
characters to find a contact.  See if this works for you.

Press the Right soft key when it is available to open your contacts, other
wise use the Left softkey to go to the Start menu and navigate to the
contacts.

Once the contacts list opens, then press the first 2 characters of either
the person's first or last name.  

A list of possible choices will come up and all you have to do is use your
arrow keys to navigate to the contact you want.

For the people I call most frequently I have learned whether to use the
characters in their first or last name as to which one will get me to them
with the least number of key presses.

I finally transferred my phone book from my previous phone to my Q.
However, my contacts are filed with last name first; does anyone know if
this normal, and/or how I can change this?
