Voice Commands on N82

Thanks Neil, Stephen reports the same thing. What happens for me is that I
press long softkey 2, wait for the blip, speak my contact's name and the
thing just locks right up. This is with or without a screen reader running.
I'm tempted to hard reset the phone, but not too tempted <grin>. I've got so
much third party stuff on there and even if I fixed it, restoring from a
back-up may well reintroduce the problem.
So I'll live with it for now and see what happens when a firmware update
comes out.
Thanks again for investigating.

Jonathan,
Sorry for the late reply, just back from vacation.
I only use the announce contacts element of the voice command feature, this
works fine for me running the latest version of Talks.
But I have just loaded up the voice command settings and everything seems to
be looking fine.
Let me know if you want further looking into this.

I would be interested to hear from Stephen, neil and anyone else who as an
N82, whether they are having issues with voice commands. These worked
perfectly and reliably for me on the E61I, but they don't work at all for me
on the N82 and in fact lock up the phone. This is with and without any
screen reader loaded.
