Strange action on Nokia 6682

It's set for 30 days.  If he is in the main menu he can go into log 
and then recent calls then received calls or missed calls and it says 
no calls.  But, if he's in the main menu and he has log hi lighted he 
can right arrow and find a list of all the calls and text messages 
he's done on the phone but it doesn't tell him if they were missed 
calls or received and so on.
