You can buy a USB cable from Nokia that will let you charge the n82.
Produced on a Nokia N73 smart phone using a Symbian based screen reader.

Hi Gabe, no pop port. There is a 3.5 mm headset jack very sensibly located
on the top of the phone. Great when the phone is in your pocket. It uses a
micro USB port for data.
You can get a cable that connects from the power socket of the N82 to a USB
port on the PC, however the phone will not charge when you have a USB
connection between your phone and the PC.

Hi I have read many reviews on the n82. I was wondering does the phone use
the standard nokia pop port or does it have a Minnie USB plug. Another
question is can the phone be charged via USB power. Thanks
Gabe

Hi James, I am very happy with the N82, it is by far the best phone I have
owned.
Using Talks, you can surf the web with the N82 with one important caveat for
now. You'll not be able to complete forms on the vast majority of sites.
This really is a pain because for example it makes it impossible to connect
to most WiFi hotspots where they often require a credit card number from
you. I am sure this issue will be addressed in a Talks update, and overall
the web support is really well done.
At this time, Mobile Speak offers no web support on the N82 at all, but
again things change quickly so it would pay to check the situation when you
do your purchase.
Podcasting and listening to music works very well with Talks. I have found
that the Music Menu is not tracking correctly in Mobile Speak, but I have
heard an update is coming out for it soon so maybe this will be addressed
there.
Also, I have not been able to get Mobile Speak to talk automatically at the
start up screen where you are asked for your SIM PIN, but Talks does speak
here.
Both screen readers will give you excellent access to most features of what
is a really classy, fast, functional phone.
I'll be getting my KNFB Reader Mobile late this week or next so I am really
looking forward to that.

Dear All,
I am also considering switching to the N82 but had some questions about the
accessibility of that particular phone before doing so. To what extent are
the various features of the phone: web browser, mp3 player, etc accessible
with either Talks and Mobile Speak, and is it necessary to get the premium
version of Talks to make the phone fully acccessible or to work with
Wayfinder Access? If anyone has used this phone for awhile and has a good
sense of its features and limitations, please drop me a line either on or
off the list. Thanks.
Sincerely,
James Fetter
