Tom,
I guess provided that you have good sense in your finger tips, then it comes
down to;
N82,
N95,
E65,
E51
N73
These would be good starter choices, but not necessarily the cheapest ones,
but good overall handsets, the `N` handsets are all singing and all doing
phones, the `E` ones are more aimed at business clients, however, they can
do pretty much all that the other ones can do, just without the bells and
whistles.
Regards.

Subject: Best Tactile Keypad and Layout
Hi,
In my quest to replace my 22c with a mainstream phone, I have boiled my
needs down to two issues, i.i.e.. large keypad and text message ringtone
changeability.
Someone on one of the phone lists I am on was lamenting how her new phone
will not allow her to assign ringtones to events as well as her old 6682 did
and this scares me. I guess I just assumed newer phones would all allow
assigning of different ringtones to incoming callers and text messages and
alerts.
Secondly, keypad layout and feel are important to me but the nearest gsm
store is sixty miles from me for hands on evaluations, and they wouldn't
carry any of the still available older phones . The 22c has such a very
well designed keypad layout and feel I am concerned about texting on a
mainstream phone and want to focus on the keypad. For those of you on this
list who have played with many different cell phones, is there a clear
standout for tactile feel and accessibility of the keypad, or are there a
few good choices and if so which ones standout.
Thanks,
To m
