Clarification about AT&T phones and Code Factory software

Hello All,

Allow me to clarify, if I may, some points which have recently come up on
list about our products and AT&T.

First, there is no installation fee for our products over and above the $89
charged to purchase them. So long as the phone is an AT&T phone,
installation is free whether it was purchased at a store or through the AT&T
National Centre for Customers with Disabilities (NCCD).

Secondly, both current AT&T customers and customers activating new service
can purchase the phone with the software already preinstalled from the NCCD.
They can also purchase the phone from the local store and install the
software on the phone themselves or have the NCCD install it.

Thirdly, the Nokia E62 and A&T/Cingular 3125 are no longer for sale, either
from the NCCD or from an AT&T store. Customers using these phones can,
however, still buy the required versions of Mobile Speak or Mobile
Magnifier, and customers using these AT&T phones will certainly still
receive support from AT&T's NCCD. Phones still part of the AT&T offer
include the Pantech Duo, the Motorola Q Global and the Nokia N75 which are
available from local stores and the NCCD, as well as the Samsung Blackjack
(not the Samsung Blackjack II) which is currently available in limited
quantities from the NCCD. Other phone models will become part of the offer
and announced later this year.

Finally, let me make clear that, according to information we received from
AT&T, customers are not required to sign any contract to purchase Mobile
Speak or Mobile Magnifier at the discounted price. If a customer is
upgrading to a new device with an existing account in good standing, or
starting a new account and purchasing a new phone, he/she has a choice of
paying the full retail price for the device or accepting a two-year contract
for service for a discounted price on the phone. This is an option to all
customers whether they are purchasing Code Factory software or not.

I hope that clears up any questions. Feel free, as always, to write to Code
Factory at <mailto:support at codefactory.es> support at codefactory.es, or to
contact AT&T / NCCD at (866) 241-6568 for voice calls and (866) 241-6567 for
TTY calls, or, of course, to post questions to this list.

Best regards,
Roselle
