Hi Will, just to say it's really good to see you posting here, and thanks
for the information which is very exciting. I'm sure the support for the Web
application will be excellent.

Jonathan

Hi everyone,

Just to clarify a few things about Mobile Speak's web browser support on its
Symbian screen reader, since it seems this topic has come up a fair bit
lately and it looks like there's been some confusion.

Mobile Speak currently supports the default built-in web browser on all
Symbian 7, 8 and 9.1 phones. This includes the N75.

We are currently working on supporting the web browser in Symbian 9.2
phones. The 9.2 phones use a different browser, called "Web" on most
devices, which is the default browser on these phones (it is also included
on 9.1 phones, but not as the default browser). Support for this browser on
all Symbian 9 phones will be included in the next release of Mobile Speak.
In the next couple of weeks we will begin beta testing this new release, so
if you are interested in trying it out before the final release, please send
me your phone's 15 digit IMEI number, found by dialing * # 0 6 #, and you'll
then receive the beta as soon as it is available.

Cheers,
Wil

Don't forget that Talks can use the internet when on Symbian phones, I
appreciate that if you're looking for a Windows device then MS can do this
as well.

The question of which is better Mobile Speak or Talks is like asking the
question which is better JAWS or Window Eyes. This is a very contraversal
topic with many different views. I will recommend what many others will
recommend and that is to obtain a 30 day trial version of both and see which
fits your needs.

Talks and Mobile Speak will run on the GSM network (AT&T and T-Mobile in
the U.S.) Mobile Speak will run on the CDMA network (Verizon Wireless in the
U.S.)

Another thing to note is that Talks will only run on Sybian phones while
Mobile Speak will run on the Windows Mobile Smart Phones, Windows Mobile
Pocket PC and Symbian phones.
