Gabe, obviously I can't speak about AT&T, but here in New Zealand on an
HSDPA connection which is also known as 3.5G, I can get around 1.5 to 2 MBPS
ordinarily, sometimes slower, sometimes even faster.

I meant how fast of a data connection does the 3G network give you. Thanks

connection? Thanks

Steven does the sound quality sound better when in a 3g network area? Thanks

keith

AT&T can not turn off the 3G. They can turn off the internet access but not
the 3G as far as talking. So turning off the internet does not disable the
3G or the usage of the 3G radio in the phone. The 3G Radio is used for
internet and for making calls. They can not switch the phone to GSM mode
only. The 4 hour talk time is only when you are in GSM mode or not in a 3G
coverage area. In a 3G coverage area; Talk time is about 2 hours. If you do
not want to take to hart what we are saying!
Look at the Nokia web site or the manual about Talks time. See below for web
link to the Nokia site.

Trust what people are saying on list and you have herd from at least 3
people who said they have short battery life when on a call when in a 3G
coverage area.

Also keith the N75 is not the only phone that will play MP3 files. Any of
the Symbian series 60 phones will do that. As far a having stereo speakers!
Again the N75 is not the only one to have them. As far as that goes; it is
quite late in the game. The N73, N82, N81 series, N95 series, 6290, E90 and
I think a few more also have stereo speakers. Same goes that other phones
have a built in FM Radio as well.

Hear is what the Nokia USA web site says about the battery life of the N75.
WCDMA is 3G EGSM is GSM.!

N75 Phone Battery Life

list of 6 items
Standard Li-Ion Battery 800 mAh
Digital Talk Time up to 4 Hours:
list of 2 items nesting level 1
WCDMA: up to 132 minutes
EGSM: up to 250 minutes
