Hello:
I sent a similar message recently to the Talks Users list, so
apologies for cross posting.
I am pleased to understand that I should have good success using my
N75 (on the AT&T network and Talks with Gmail (using the online version).
But I'm wondering whether people have had success using either the
mobile or regular versions of Google Reader and/or Google Calendar on
your phone, regardless of whether you use Talks or Mobile Speak.
I figure that I may be able to adapt Mobile Speak success tips to Talks.
Here's a little background.
I'm finally entering the age of the accessible cell phone after
having, since 2000, no functionality except making and receiving
calls, assuming I either had the phone number with me, or remembered it.
I've been reading around, trying to do my research, and catching up
with all the potential that a truly accessible cell phone will offer me.
There are two Google applications that I'd like to be able to use
with my N75 and Talks. These are the Google Calendar and the Google
Reader. I am less concerned with syncing my Google Calendar with
anything; I'd rather just be able to use it online.
But if I could sync the Google Calendar to an app. on my phone,
that'd be great.
And Google Reader may be a little tricky, just as it is tricky on the
computer, because it's AJAXIAN.
But does anyone have tips for either of these applications,
especially as to whether their Mobile versions would work? I'm
thinking the Mobile versions might work better for Google Calendar
and Google Reader, than the regular versions currently work on computer.
Thanks in advance.
Best,
Jennifer
