New Phone and Service

Oh Stephen, please tell me this is an April Fools Joke! If there is 3G
available in my area, the phone would need charging each day? I was
hoping to charge less than my current phone not more!
How does one find out if they are in or near a 3G area? What is 3G for,
GPS?
The phone sounds great from the descriptions I have read. The draw
backs I have read about are mainly are the battery and the headphone
jack. I did not hear that it would need to be charged several times a
day. That would be very disappointing if that is the case.
I was hoping to use it as an MP3 player, but I can't be charging it
several times a day! Can anyone comment on battery life if not in a 3G
area?
Thanks,
Keith

That is correct. If you get one of the new phones and it has the 20.x
firmware. You can not get it un branded. You will be stuck with all the
AT at T limitations and the short battery life if you happen to be in a 3g
coverage area. Another words, you may be charging the phone 2 or more
times a day.
Produced on a Nokia N73 smart phone using a Symbian based screen reader.
