Which version of Talkx

If you install the recommended version of Talks for the N75 then you'll
get limited access to the front of the N75 when the flip is closed. For
example, as you use the up and down keys on the side of the phone,
you'll hear things like "1 of 20", "2 of 20" and so on. You'll also hear
some messages spoken automatically. However, you won't have access to
the web browser. If you go with the latest version of Talks then Talks
will be quieter when the flip is closed, but you be able to use the web
browser. I personally skipped version 3.2 of Talks since that didn't
give you access to the web browser, but I did move up to 3.5 when that
came out to get access to the web browser. This is what I'd recommend,
but it depends on how much you want the limited functionality when the
flip is closed versus the ability to use the web browser.
I thought I answered this yesterday, but maybe not. There's a bar shaped
key between the 2 key on the numeric keypad and the square directional
key below the screen. The left side of this bar is the Talks key. It's
the same as the edit key. Press it twice quickly to access the edit key
and once to get the Talks key.
Yes, you can access the time, battery and network status with any
version of Talks. Use the Talks key followed by soft key 2 to get the
status information and the Talks key followed by the 9 key to get the
time and date.
You can definitely move from Talks 3.1 to a newer version of Talks
without losing any speech. I'm not sure about going backwards, but i'm
guessing it would work.
