Sounds like Verizon is probably your best bet.  They have LG phones that
have speech.  Particularly the LG VX-8300 and 8350 will work right out of
the box.  I don't know of any other provider that is going to have a
blind-friendly phone in their store.  And if they do it's going to take
serious buckies to buy the software and the phone will probably end up
doing more than you want or need.  Hope this helps.
