Annette, take a look at phatnotes. The latest MSS has support for that.
They do have a trial version; it is a purchase program.

I use my Q to access the internet to check on the bus schedule through
Nextbus.com. I've been trying to check the Metrorail schedule via the Q
with limited success. I do not know if the problem is me, the Q or the web
site. I also check the weather. I've considered trying to access our local
news radio station, but haven't had time to do it.

I could receive e-mail on my Q, but choose not to. I love accessing my
contacts and calendar, and wish that my version of the Q had a Notes feature
that interfaced with Outlook. I think this is now available in newer
versions. I also frequently use the text messaging feature.

For a while I needed to have my laptop access the internet when not near a
internet connection, so I added a package on my Q that let me use the Q as
the modem for the laptop. I used the video conference feature from MSN
while accessing the internet this way. It was very successful considering
we were in the middle of a transit system bus yard.

I'm not 100% sure about the costs, but I think they are as follows, plus
taxes, etc.:

Cell service $40 per month
Unlimited internet $45 per month
Cell phone acting as a modem $15 per month

HTH,
Annette

Annette, thanks for your response. Maybe you or another Verizon user can
speak to this one: Do you use your Q to access the Internet--for example,
from your train into the metro area? What I'm trying to do is to make it so
the PDA I buy, using Verizon's network, can enable me to go online from
anywhere--even from a car or train--to do business or to exchange
information regardless of whether there is a wireless network in my vicinity
that would work with Windows. For that I am ttrying to price Internet
access that would be added to a phone line. Any idea how much this ought to
run?
