Note that there are two phones with the word "Blackjack" in their name:
The Samsung Blackjack is a Smartphone based on Windows Mobile 5.0 (which
means no touch screen so it's not a Pocket PC, and does not have Office
Mobile which is not built into WM5).
It is a GSM Quad-band phone capable of global roaming ( 850/900/1800/1900
MHz).
It is a UMTS American 3G capable phone ( 850/1900 MHz).
It has a QWERTY keyboard with secondary numeric functions, instead of a
numeric keypad.
It is part of the new AT&T offer where you can get Mobile Speak Smartphone
for 89 dollars.
The Samsung Blackjack II is a Smartphone based on Windows Mobile 6 (which
means it has no touch screen so it is not a Pocket PC but WM6 includes
Office Mobile.
It is a GSM Quad-band phone capable of global roaming ( 850/900/1800/1900
MHz).
It is a UMTS tri-band 3G phone capable of global roaming ( 850/1900/2100
MHz).
It has a QWERTY keyboard with numeric functions, instead of a numeric
keypad.
It has a built-in GPS receiver.
It is slightly faster than the Blackjack (clocks at 260 MHz rather than 220
MHz), and has twice as much built-in memory (128 MB rather than 64 MB RAM,
and 256 MB rather than 128 MB ROM).
It weighs just like the Blackjack at 3.5 ounces or around 100 grams, but
it's sleeker in design.
At present, it is not yet part of the new AT&T offer but it is also one of
the phones they carry. However, it is already compatible with Mobile Speak
Smartphone.
HTH,
Roselle
